The Altistart U01 is a soft start/soft stop unit for 3-phase asynchronous motors. It is designed primarily for combinations with TeSys U starter-controllers. It can be used for a motor rated power up to 11kW or 15hp for 3-phase (200V to 480V AC) and up to 22A rating. It is 45mm wide, this makes it one of the smallest soft starters on the market. It can be installed nearly everywhere. It features an Integrated bypass, this reduces noise and decreases heat dissipation. Its protection index is IP20. It weighs 0.49kg and its dimensions are, 45mm wide, 314mm high, 170mm deep. The Altistart U01 is designed for the following simple applications like conveyors, conveyor belts, pumps, fans, compressors, automatic doors and gates, small cranes and belt-driven machinery. It complies with standards IEC/EN 60947-4-2, and carries UL, CSA, C-Tick, and CCC certifications, and CE marking. It can be easily combined with a TeSys U controller by means of the power connector VW3G4104. It is easy to install on a DIN rail. Altistart 01 combines simplicity with easy cabling, fast configuration and efficiency. Reduced machine wear and minimized maintenance time will optimize operations. Together with TeSys Model U, it provides a unique motor starter solution.
